100% owned by South African growers, the Marquis Macadamias Lows Creek satellite factory has a processing capacity of 6,000 tonnes and has been processing kernel since 2008. The addition of this facility to the Marquis Group provides diversity of origin and supports our year-round reliability as worldwide demand for macadamias continues to grow.
With a floor area of 4,500 square metres, the Lows Creek factory has a total capacity of 700 tonnes of drying, 500 tonnes of kernel storage, and cracks 2 tonnes per hour. It also boasts a Napasol 5-log pasteurisation system.
