Lismore Factory Hosts International Influencers for an Exclusive Macadamia Tour
At the start of the June, the Australian Macadamia Society welcomed food, travel, and lifestyle influencers from South Korea and Japan to the Northern Rivers macadamia growing region. This initiative aimed to promote the unique qualities of Australian macadamias and strengthen international relationships.
The influencers spent an afternoon at our shareholder Ross Arnett’s macadamia farm, ‘Malua’, home to approximately 2,000 macadamia trees. Ross showcased them the harvesting and sorting process and shared insights into his regenerative farming practices. Guests savoured a delightful macadamia-themed lunch and later participated in a masterclass where they learned to make macadamia lip balm, milk, and butter.
The trip also included a comprehensive tour of our Lismore Factory. The tour included detailed demonstrations of the drying, cracking, sorting, and packing stages of macadamia production. They were fascinated by the meticulous process and impressed by the quality control measures in place. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the interactive experience, which provided them with a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship involved in producing top-quality macadamias.
Thanks to all the staff involved in the tours. Having a close association with our customers is vital, and the presentation of the factory and interaction with staff were first class. Our sales and marketing team greatly appreciate the factory staff’s efforts to discuss and present our products in the best light.
