Ben Adams

Chief Executive Officer

Ben brings more than 20 years of senior management experience in the agricultural sector across production, processing, sales and marketing. He currently serves on the Australian Macadamia Marketing Committee and the World Macadamia Organisation’s Strategic Foundations Committee.

Prior to joining Marquis, Ben held key domestic and international leadership roles, including leading a high value hybrid seed production, processing, and sales with major operations across the United States and Mexico.

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Queensland and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Justin Truscott

Chief Financial Officer

Justin is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience after 19 years within the finance / accounting sector. He has spent the past 10 years working with global companies gaining experience across Asia (China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Korea), USA, Europe and the Middle East. Justin has worked with several key companies within the garment manufacturing industry.

Steven Lee

Chief Operating Officer

Steven has 28 years’ experience within the nut industry. He joined Marquis Macadamias in 2005 initially as Operations Manager, then General Manager. Previous roles include agricultural R&D, micro lab management, factory QA and process development. Steven has a Plant Biology science degree.

Craig Brice

General Manager Bundaberg

Craig has 28 years’ experience in the macadamia industry. He joined MPC in 1992 working in various roles including Quality Manager and Operations Manager and was appointed General Manager Bundaberg in 2018.

Jamie Burley

Jamie Burley

General Manager Lismore

Born and raised in Lismore, Jamie began his career in engineering and production management in the industrial gases industry with roles in Sydney and Townsville before being taking on the role of Operations Manager for Queensland based in Brisbane. 

He then made the move across the Tasman as Sales General Manager for New Zealand for five years before leaving the Industrial Gases world and returning to the Northern Rivers to apply his operational experience to the Macadamia Industry. 

Jamie has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Queensland.

George Hagios

Chief Sales Officer

George was born and raised in Sydney and studied his master’s degree in Business Administration at Macquarie University. George previously worked for several multinational companies within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry in various sales and management positions, in both Australia and Europe. These companies include Pepsi and Masterfoods.
