The Marquis Group of companies holds the esteemed position of being one of the largest macadamia grower, processor, and marketer worldwide. We take pride in delivering high-quality macadamias to five continents across the globe.

For more than forty years, we have dedicated ourselves to perfecting our approach to macadamia farming, processing, and marketing. Our commitment to excellence has led us to establish two state-of-the-art factories, all owned by our dedicated growers.

Through Marquis Macadamias Australia, we process over 28,000 tonnes of nut-in-shell per year.

Our mission is to bring both the delicious taste and the health benefits of macadamias to the world.

End-to-end processing

Our international reputation for quality is highly prized in our industry. We take great care to ensure our macadamia products have the longest possible shelf life by controlling storage and processing conditions.

Vertically integrated from grower to customer, our farm-to-plate traceability is underpinned by our BRC based food safety systems, our innovative world-class manufacturing facilities, and our industry-leading processes.


With our unstoppable drive for innovation, we were the first macadamia processor in the world to have installed the Napasol pasteurisation process, a validated kill step that provides a 5-log reduction of Salmonella and other microorganisms. The system uses only heat and steam to treat the kernel under precise pressure conditions. 

As a non-chemical treatment, it doesn’t impact the taste, appearance, texture and shelf-life of our products.

100% of our kernel is 5-log pasteurised and we can also supply pasteurised sawn and flavoured NIS. That means peace of mind when it comes to food safety.

Marquis Macadamias Australia

Marquis Macadamias originally started as Macadamia Processing Company (MPC) when it was first established by a group of four Australian macadamia growers in 1983. Since that time, it has grown to be wholly-owned by over 180 Australian macadamia grower shareholders, with a total of 320+ Australian growers supplying macadamias.

Vertically integrated from grower to customer, farm-to-plate traceability of Marquis’ nuts is underpinned by our  BRC based food safety systems, innovative world-class manufacturing facilities and processes, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability.

Marquis Marketing

Marquis Marketing is 100% owned by Marquis Macadamias (Australian growers). 

Based in Brisbane, Australia, Marquis Marketing sells and markets superior quality nut-in-shell and kernel to food manufacturing, wholesale and retail customers around the world, including  the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia. Marquis also value adds and retail packs nut-in-shell and kernel for some of the largest USA, Asian and Australian retailers.
