Marquis Macadamias hosted Better Homes & Gardens presenters Johanna Griggs and Fast Ed teaching them all about the Australian macadamia industry.

We took the Better Homes & Gardens crew through our Lismore factory where Marquis CEO, Larry McHugh, gave presenters Johanna Griggs and Fast Ed a factory tour to see the step-by-step process of turning macadamia deliveries from the farm into much loved products for food manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers around the world. Johanna and Ed were surprised to learn how versatile macadamias are, including non-food applications such as moisturising lotions and cosmetics.

Our day with Better Homes & Gardens also included a visit to Marquis grower Andrew Leslie’s farm. Andrew did a great job of explaining the growing process and what it’s like to grow macadamias in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of New South Wales.

Chef Fast Ed whipped up a delicious panforte dessert, while Johanna enjoyed the treat of spotting koalas on the farm.
